Risk Transfer Engine

Turn every insurance exhibit into rules that enforce themselves.

Limits, endorsements, edition dates, AM Best minimums and completed operations duration, written once per exhibit and applied by portfolio, project, trade and vendor. Change a rule and Pikorua Security tells you exactly who it affects before it goes live.

Set the requirement. See who fails it.

Choose a project and trade, or switch to leases and pick a property and tenant type. Every limit, endorsement and carrier minimum you change recalculates the vendors affected and rewrites the rule.

AM Best minimum A- VII: A- or better, size class VII or larger.

Rule inheritance

Write the standard once. Override only what changes.

Owner contracts, lender requirements and trade risk change one or two lines of an exhibit, not the whole thing. Each level carries only its differences, and the vendor sees the combined result with the source of every line.

AM Best and carrier solvency

The carrier is part of the requirement.

A $5,000,000 umbrella from a carrier that cannot pay is not $5,000,000. Every rule set carries a carrier standard, checked on arrival and again whenever a rating changes. See it on a live certificate in the AI COI Parser.
CheckWhat it catchesWhat happens
Financial Strength RatingA carrier rated below the exhibit minimum, A- (Excellent) by default.Deficient; the broker notice names the carrier and the rating required
Financial Size CategoryCarriers too small for the limits they write. Class VII means $50 million to $100 million of adjusted policyholders' surplus.Deficient when below the class in the rule
Admitted statusSurplus lines paper where the contract requires an admitted carrier in the project state.Deficient or noted, set per rule
Rating actionsA rating placed under review with negative implications, or downgraded during the policy term.Every vendor on that carrier is re-evaluated the same day
NAIC and name matchA carrier name on the certificate that does not match its NAIC number: a typo, a group affiliate or a fronting arrangement.Routed to review with both values shown
ReceivershipA carrier placed in rehabilitation or liquidation by its state insurance regulator.Immediate deficiency for every affected vendor

Versioning

Every rule change has an author, a reason and a result.

When a claim arrives, the question is what the requirement was on the day the vendor worked. Versions answer it, and each one records how many vendors it moved.

Questions

About the rule engine.

Need a starting point for your exhibit? Browse the model contract clauses and the ISO endorsement library.

How do our insurance exhibits get into Pikorua Security?
Upload the exhibits from your subcontracts, leases or vendor agreements as PDFs. Pikorua Security extracts each insurance clause, compiles it into a rule set and shows you the result side by side with the source text before anything goes live. Enterprise customers have a dedicated risk engineer who reviews every compiled rule set with them.
Can different projects, properties and trades have different requirements?
Yes. Rules inherit from portfolio to project (or property) to trade (or tenant type) to individual vendor. Each level overrides only what it changes, so an owner contract that raises the umbrella on one project does not touch the rest of the portfolio.
What happens when we change a rule mid-project?
Every change creates a new version with an author, a reason and a timestamp. Before you publish, Pikorua Security shows how many vendors the change would affect and why. After publishing, affected vendors are re-evaluated and notices are queued for your review before they go to brokers.
Can we grant a vendor an exception?
Yes. A Risk Manager or Admin can approve a vendor-level exception with a reason and an expiry date. The exception shows wherever that vendor appears, is written to the audit trail, and lapses automatically on its expiry date.
Will Pikorua Security tell us what our insurance requirements should be?
No. Pikorua Security does not give legal or insurance advice. It enforces the requirements you and your counsel set. The model contract clauses in our resources library are a starting point for that conversation, not a recommendation.
