Integrations Engineer, Procore & Yardi
Build and run the connectors that turn a deficient COI into a held payment. You own Pikorua Security's sync with Procore and Yardi Voyager: OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, retries, reconciliation and the integration health panel customers watch.

The team
Where this role sits
The Integrations team runs every connector Pikorua Security offers, from construction management and ERP systems to property accounting and jobsite access control. Procore and Yardi Voyager carry the most traffic and the most consequence: a missed status write can mean a payment goes to a vendor whose coverage lapsed. The team is on a light weekday on-call rotation during US business hours, with runbooks and alerts we review after every page.
Responsibilities
What you will do
- Own the Procore and Yardi Voyager connectors end to end: authentication, field mapping, webhooks, scheduled reconciliation and failure handling.
- Build the logic that places and releases payment holds on non-compliant vendors, and record every state change for the tender defense vault.
- Design for API limits with token budgets, backoff, idempotent writes and separate lanes for backfills and live status changes.
- Extend the integration health panel so customers see exactly which vendor records failed to sync and why.
- Work with customer IT and ERP administrators during Enterprise rollouts, including custom field mapping and multi-entity setups.
- Write and maintain the public connector documentation and webhook payload references.
Requirements
What you bring
- 4+ years building backend services in TypeScript (Node.js) or Go, with production experience integrating third-party REST APIs.
- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, webhook security (signature verification, replay protection) and idempotency keys.
- Experience with Postgres and queue-based workers such as SQS.
- Comfort debugging someone else's API from logs, a support ticket and a sandbox account.
- Clear writing for documentation and for incident updates customers will read.
Nice to have
Bonus points, not requirements
- Hands-on work with Procore, Yardi, AppFolio, CMiC or other construction and property management systems.
- Familiarity with accounting objects: commitments, invoices, AP holds and vendor master data.
- On-call experience and a calm, blameless postmortem style.
